2 Upcoming Chi-Town Meets -- 08/25 & 09/07/13....

Just wanted to post up here, that I recently became aware of two (separate) local meets for any/all of you in the Chi-Town/Suburban area....

All Taurus owners, all trim levels, all model years welcome.....

First Meet:


Date: Sunday - August 25th, 2013
Start: 11am-11:30am
End: ??
Location: 220 N Smith Street, Palatine,‎ Illinois‎ 60067

***(This is a parking garage/facility that's across the street from Palatine's Metra Train Stop & Dirty Nellie's bar. It's customary for Taurus owners to take the top floor under the open roof)***


Second Meet:


Date: Saturday - September 7th, 2013
Start: 8am (suggested arrival)
End: ??
Location: The Promenade of Bolingbrook, IL. 60440

There's also some chatter about participating in the Test&Tune night, the night before, Friday, September 6th, 2013 @ the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. but not too sure on attendance at this juncture.

Received a text message from the primary point person organizing this event for ttomorrow (08/25) informing he had family stuff come up, & is unable to attend.

It appears a few other EB members were/are also unable to commit due to other obligations as well.

At this point, if no one posts. Up about attending, I'm probably gonna back out as well.

Although it'd be nice if a few others chimed in and verified their attendance, or not.

Paying close(r) attention at this point.

Sorry Mike, Had whole family over for b day and sisters wedding anniv. bbq etc.
Sept 7th could work better, won't lose the whole day, keep me posted if you're going.
