Hello everyone. I’ve owned my SHO for just over two years and just re-upped my warranty. I was wondering if there are ways to go about going through a certified performance place that won’t void my warranty. I’ve heard roush and livernois are possible do’s that won’t void warranty. Can anyone confirm this information or should I keep it stock?

I wouldn't trust the 2nd vendor you named, at all.

Multiple failures as of late, and they've essentially all but abandoned this forum, and the other..... with no involvement or even sign in, since the beginning of September of this year.

You've been warned.

Fords pretty lenient about tuning, they won't deny you warranty work unless they can prove it was specifically the tune/modifications that caused problems.

To be honest just hearing the name makes me angry. I can’t even imagine how Mike feels. And to think, just prior to the ‘incident’ they were at the top of my list for mods and a tune.

But to the OP, of course you always run the risk with your warranty but almost anything you do can be undone if need be. However, it is still just a computer with traceability. I believe it was SM105k where I heard Ford can see how many times it has been flashed? Having said that, just to be upfront I personally did wait till my factory warranty was up. For me it was just one less thing to worry about.

Yes, they can tell how many times the vehicle has been flashed.

a question to piggyback this thread...

The top tuners in my book are AJPTurbo (Brad), Gearhead (Matt), Ortiz Tuning (Lee) and Unleashed Tuning (Torrie). They all do a wonderful job and all can give your what you are looking for within reason.

I personally run the AJPTurbo tune. Brad is great, however his turn around is quite slow now with the explosion of business he is getting. He does have the fastest tuned SHO 's but he does tuning on the side. He does not have a dedicated business like the next three tuners.

Gearhead (Matt) has an Auto Octane that people rave about. He also has put alot of R&D into our platform as well. He developed our upgraded intercooler and spec'd out a pair of upgraded turbos. He also sells many products as well.

Ortiz tuning (Lee is their rep on here) is up an coming tuner in our community. I see quite a few SHO's with their tunes as well. There website is cool and they offer a ton a products as well.

Unleashed (Torrie) does a great job as well.

Take your time, talk to many tuners and then pick the one that is best for your needs.

I'm glad Unleashed made the list. I was looking at the N-gauge they sell. it looks much more compact and can second as a normal gauge.

The Livewire does the samething and more. I monitor 9 PID's at once. The N-Gauge cant.
