    Cam position sensor

    cam position sensor is relatively easy. Just two small bolts and a plug to pull it out. It is located in the back left corner right in front of where the ecu comes through the firewall

    yeah, all of the pinpoint tests are pointing to a ground issue, but I can't seem to find a bad one. Basically, the resistance form the DIS ground wire to the negative battery terminal is supposed to be less than 5 ohms, but when I measure it, it is 8 ohms. If there was a break in the system...

    Title says it, no spark. I was driving last night and the car died... I replaced the coil pack, DIS and ECU but still nothing, anyone ever hear of this happening and have any suggestions as to what it might be? All help is appreciated.

    crank pulley

    Im not sure that the missing pieces will effect the overall balance of the pully being that it is mounted in rubber (if I remember correctly). just my 2 cents...

    I had the same thing happen to my pulley. What I did was build up the walls with some JB weld so the belt wouldn't have a place to slip out. I only used it for a short time, so I can't vouch for the long term capabilities, but it worked fine for the month or so I was running it.

    I can't seem to get rid of the codes: I have replaced all of the sensors, checked all of the wring and even replaced the EEC...I am just at my wits end...

    I would probably buy a pre-bought one...did you install it yourself? My only concern would be getting it to run ignition. I am not sure on what type of ignition system the SHO has and thus not sure how I would wire it in to the stand alone

    The reason I am considering going to a stand alone is that I am tired of dealing with all of the sensor related codes that are happening in the car. Shoteen95: Did you install your megasquirt yourself? If so, how long/hard was the process.
