rack & pinion replacement

how hard is it to replace the rack and pinion?anybody done it any pointers would be appreciated. -Robert

strange knock

hey guys im not really new but i am a little rusty so help would be great 1st when i let the car sit over night when i go to start it knocks like its not getting any oil.then after running like 2-4 seconds it goes away? 2nd someties when im driving and i hit the gas i can hear this funny...
