Obsolete shims
I live in Troy,OH The way it sounds, it can be a hastle getting them from a cycle shop. Probably depends on the shop I'm sure. Anyway, thanks to all for your help. I am going to get the shims I need form Scott since he has extras. thumbs_u- SHO N GO

Scott, If you can spare a few, I'm definitely interested. I ran through the #'s and I can use two 2.700mm and one 2.750mm. Please let me know what you have to have for them. Randall- SHO N GO

Obsolete shims
Is it common for cycle shops to have these in stock? Anyone have any experience? I'm not familiar with what bike(s) they are used on and/or how common they are.- SHO N GO

Obsolete shims
They were 0.230mm, 0.255mm, and 0.255mm after replacement. And they were all on the intake side. So, two of them are still out of spec. and I'd like to bring the 0.230 clearance down too.- SHO N GO

Obsolete shims
First off, I want to thank all of you for all the great info that you have on this site. Very informative. My question is about the "obsolete" valve shims. I did my 60K over the weekend and needed (2) 2700 shims and (1) 2725 shim. Unfortunately the largest that I had in the kit was 2675...- SHO N GO
