link shaft bearing update?
I have discovered that my right side link shaft on my MTX will slide right out of the hanger. The rubber surounding the bearing doesn't appear worn, but the link shaft won't stay in the differential. There was discussion that these were not available. Any updates or substitutions? Thanks- white sho

no power to the ground??
A check underneath revealed the problem. The Driver side (left) axle comes directly out of the transaxle. The Right side comes out to a link shaft and then to the axle. When I pushed and pulled on the link shaft, it moved in and out of the transaxle. I pushed it back in as best I could. The...- white sho

I finally got around to replacing my axles on my 90 MTX. The Haynes manual says to not replace both axles at once, so I pulled the right axle and the link shaft. The axle separated from the link shaft easily and it all went back in. The left side also went in easily. Dropped the car off the...- white sho
