Wow. I appreciate your suggestions, but I would like to point out a couple things: The starter mounting is not an issue, I simply mounted it to my adapter plate in the original SHO position, and notched the bellhousing a little bit- it did not interfere with the clutch fork at all. I...- Hambler

That's a sweet deal, not a bad way to get an awesome engine and trans. I am by no means an expert on any of this, but a couple comments I have from what I've learned this summer: The t56 isnt really that much heavier than most 6 speed trans, if at all. I plan on using an upgraded s2000 clutch if I go that route which I'm not super happy with, as from my experience upgraded clutch's aren't as nice to drive. What is the difference between the 3.0 heads and oil pan vs the 3.2? I've considered in the back of my mind modifying the oil pan in some way, I am going to cross that bridge when I get there. I wondered this, as I did a brief 5 minute google search while I was at the guys house looking at the car. The only thing that made me question this was I believe the power locks cycled when it was put in gear/park. Were these different switches or are they linked in some way? Thanks, Harry- Hambler
