ok, heres the deal, it looks like the car has and aftermarket MAF and it has the airbox removed with a open cone filter,also the port cover is missing from the rear of the PCM , car also has hiflow Y pipe and dynomax exhaust. is it possible the PCM has been purposely programmed to have the...

Ya I can move them by hand. New developments! I swapped the pcm from my other car. Its a X2J. The one I took out was a LOS... and it runs terrible, BUT the secondaries are working right now, so now I know it is a pcm problem.. but what's up with to almost identical cars having different...

ok ill check those hoses... i dont think thats the deal because i swapped out the canister and switch all in one piece from a running car and never disconnected the hose between them...

ok... im thinkin while im typing here... the solenoid i know is good because i took it out of my other car which is running perfect.. but its actuating (closing the secondaries) when i run a ground to it. now i know that you know this stuff like the back of your hand :hail: and i'm just learnin...

I have power but no ground. wired a ground to the plug and started the car and they closed but would not open... so i guess pcm

ok so are the two wires going to that switch just a hot and a ground? i took the switch off and put power straight to it from a battery and you can hear it switch so i assume so... anybody know?

checked vacuum; good. checked for canister leak; none. checked actuators; good... I swapped the switch out of a known working SHO and it still doesn't work... so... electrical issues somewhere..

everything is plug in and seems to be fine but no response at all from the butterflies.... there is a vacuum line missing in the front where the big one from the throttle body comes down could that be a problem?

ok so i checked the tang and it is in the down position which is open right? and it doesnt change, engine off, idling, or WOT.. so i assume now that its not working... how do i check for leaks or trace down the problem?

intake

just bought another sho, and this one has a cai. I've built my own and tried different things on past cars and always thought that the best i can come up with is stock airbox with a good filter.. that's just butt-dyno'd tho.. what yall think is the best?

need help with spout connector issue

GOT IT !!!!!!!! hooked the wire from pin 36 to a yellow and green wire aI found cut in the harness thanks very much for all the hwlp and support without you guys I would never have got it Thanks again

need help with spout connector issue

The pin 36 wire I am refering to is coming out of the PCM on the firewall at the back left of the engine compartment. It comes out of the PCM as a black wire and is soldered to a blue wire which is not connected to anything total length is about 10 in from the PCM I need help finding out where...

where is the eec? I have a loose wire from the 36 pin of the PCM can anyone tell me where it goes it is a black wire computer still says spout connector open
