    Reliability of 2010-2012 engines? Mileage numbers?

    2010, 105k miles, tuned since 60k. All original, start up rattle since 50k. Changed oil first 60k when light came on, Motorcraft synthetic blend. Since then, Amsoil. Transmission, PTU, antifreeze, brake fluid changed at 60k. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    I had mine done in 2010, $1800 resold service by by the dealer, lasted for about 5 years. Don't remember the name of it. Car was very easy to keep clean, I was often accused of washing it daily, though was often only washed once per month. I had it done again last year for $600, holding up well...

    There is a wire that runs long the top of the engine to a sensor. Often it can wear and short against the block. There is a whole thread on that here somewhere. I'm sure others might chime in with a link to that thread. I took a photo from mine and you can see where I tied the wire to keep it...

    Insert SD Nav card

    My wife's 2015 Focus did this. After some card troubleshooting that didn't work, Ford replaced the Sync control module, which fixed it. Not sure about Taurus, but Ford increased the warranty time on this part for the Focus. Mark Sent from my XT1094 using Tapatalk
