Ok, so its under the backseat like I figured. Any specific replacement pump I should use? Should I replace the relay as well just for good measure?

Where is the fuel pump located on a 92' SHO? Is it under the backseat or in the Trunk?

    changed the spark plugs

I had a simmilar issue on my Tbird. Car wouldnt start, fuel pump was behaving eraddicly and would not prime. It ended up being the battery which I replaced and it started right up. Also check your battery terminals and cables to make shure they are getting good contact.
