The code on my 1992 MTX is F1DF-12B581-BA. I found that the fan on my 92 was dead so I took one out of my 94 MTX (parts car) cut the 3 prong connector and repalced it with my 92--2 prong connector wired to the high speed wire. Now my 92 keeps nice and cool-may be too cool as the temp guage...- clydekart

overheating
Thanks Maddog11, the fan motor runs when I connect it directly to 12v source, however it still will not click on when engine is hot (overheating). The fuse is good and the connection is good. What should I check next? or do all SHO's run hot when at idle. I also have a 92MTX and I notice...- clydekart
