if i let off the throttle right before it shifts it won't bang into 2nd. it only does it when i accelerate slow into 2nd 2500 rpms or under- glennb1980

bad tranny or not atx
rebuilt 30,000 miles ago by previous owner when tranny shifts from 1st to 2nd at 2500 rpms or lower it bangs into 2nd gear if i accelerate so it shifts over 2500 rpms it shifts fine. could it be a sensor any info will help. thanks- glennb1980
