Intake manifold bracket
I tried to slide mine out with just the lower bolt removed. No go. I removed the upper alternator bolt and gently pried the bracket. Voila, the manifold bracket slid right out as I held tension on the alt. bracket. :beer:- 625

Camshaft Oil Seals?
If you have the front of the motor already apart, you should replace the seals. They are cheap. You could just as easily damage something the next time you are in there when the seals start leaking, so I'm not sure why that is an issue to be concerned with. starter removal question
yea, what Pete said. Yes, it is easy. I did mine last year. Starting the bolts is usually the hardest part when replacing the starter. I removed my oil filter to get some extra clearance, but I think it can be done if you leave it in.- 625

Help!
My suggestion is to leave it alone as hard as it might be. If you really want to do it right, you have to take the intake apart. Not worth the effort IMHO.- 625

Help!
I just had my intake off last weekend on my 94 ATX. You need to remove the bolt on the top drivers side bracket (strap). The passenger side bracket has a nut that a grounding cable attaches to. Remove the nut, then remove the bolt that bolts the bracket to the intake. Then as Ishodu said...- 625

Eibach springs with OEM struts
I have the Eibach Pro kit with new OEM struts. Rides nice, but after 20K, the struts are obviously not working properly. Still, it's much better then it was when I picked up the car with 82K on it. I couldn't justify spending well over 500 dollars on struts at the time. Does any company...- 625

Passenger Wheel almost fell off.
I agree with DHMag. I don't remember how the SHO's are set up, but it's possible to have damaged the ABS sensor and toothed ring that the ABS sensor gets it's signal from if the bearing is as bad as it sounds. What do you mean the wheel is screwed? Did it rub against something? That...- 625

why does the a/c engage with heat?
If only my climate control would do what I tell it. It prefers to send everything through the defroster vents. I have to hit the floor button, then vent, then A/C just to get the A/C to blow out of the vents. I'm guessing this has something to do with the blend door? Not too concerned about...- 625

My plug Well Seals are shot
Just did mine yesterday. I used the $80 Felpro set. I also replaced the original wires while I had the intake off. I used the ACDelco set. Fit great. Popped some new plugs in as well. Took me over 5 hours taking my time and carefully cleaning everything. Get the new seals. You don't want...- 625

:cry: That's what I was afraid of. Do most people replace the cam seals too since the front of the engine is already disassembled? This seems to make sense to me.- 625

Sorry, I should have stated that most of the oil seems to drip from the front (passenger side) of the engine and gets onto the front cat and front pipe before the right side cat.- 625
