Lol you literally highlight the last words of a long paragraph to tell me I'm wrong. How lame. And if you read the other posts, you would realize that this post might actually end up only being for me and my car since nobody else in this thread (including you) wants to drop a $1000+ on brake...

Alright well it doesn't matter how long you've been in "the scene". You and Jordan are shitting on arron for his brackets for no reason. And then you post this to further discourage me from buying these brackets. If you guys did the math, its pretty easy to realize that this saves money over...

Well I'm a little surprised that you aren't ponying up for lighter brakes and rotors. Its like 20lbs of unsprung weight. Aren't you big into drag racing? If you look on the tce website, you can get a 14" kit. It's not about rotor size because i can go with whatever size i want. I want a...

I don't agree with the people that don't like the price. I've done the math and I figure I'm probably saving close to $1000 over tce. I don't have a problem with you getting money in exchange for your innovation. Like you said, someone else can engineer brackets and bring them to market for...

I'm pretty sure people have been doing explorer brake swaps on 10-12 cars forever, so I don't think I need knuckles.

My interest has not "faded" on big brakes. I just didn't think I had to order asap considering the whole front end of my sho is torn down and I'm trying to fix it in between fixing everyone else's cars. I can order this week if time is critical. I have spent 2 weeks obsessing over calipers...

    Mustang GT Brembos

Ok i have a few questions and then I would like an invoice or something to pay for the brackets. 1. I want to go with the caliper that has the 5.18 piston area. Will that cause any problems? Like maybe pedal problems? 2. My 2011 has the exact same knuckle as the 2013+? Right? 3.If I wanted a...

    Mustang GT Brembos

I see that the piston area is 5.4 in. Did that effect your pedal feel negatively? I'm on a 2011 master cylinder and I have a 2013+ replacement for it. If I can do better for a master cylinder than I will. Any suggestions? The more race car the better. Do you know if those are the same calipers...

I see how you would be getting better braking than me using upgraded rotors and pads. I have been using pads more geared towards comfort.

Ok, can you tell me which calipers work with the bracket? I am shopping them right now and I'm curious about the piston area as well as the cost. Maybe you can fill in the blanks for me. Does the piston area on your set up or the tce kit increase the piston area? The 2013+ brakes have an area of...

I have no mods to the car whatsoever and I smoke the brakes if I start getting on it. Maybe we just have different driving styles. The bottom line is that I like the taurus and I want it to perform better. If stock brakes stop you every time than I am happy for you and your bank account.

That sounds cool. What is a finite element analysis? Would you sell the file/blueprint/dimensions so that I can replicate your bracket?

So how are four pots off a Mustang GT overkill again?

    Mustang GT Brembos

Could you maybe offer some insight on how you engineered the bracket? I am open to paying big bucks for some brackets if I can get into some big brakes for less than the $2,500 that TCE wants for their front kit. However I think it would probably be better if I just fabricate a couple one-off...

    Mustang GT Brembos

So remind me how this is overkill again? Of every performance vehicle you just named they all have minimum 4 pot brakes except the sho. And you realize you're on a forum with more than one 600+ horsepower Taurus. You have posted 2 hater posts in a row. Are you going to actually add anything to...

    Mustang GT Brembos

The car weighs over 4,000 lbs. I want to go to a 4 piston caliper with the same size rotors. That hardly seems like overkill. Especially after a few 60-130-60 pulls. I realize that 5k might be on the low end but it just bothers me that nobody has even tried for a low buck bbk over the last 10...

    Mustang GT Brembos

Considering that the TCE big brake kit is like $5,000 it seems to me that we have a lot of wiggle room for some custom work. I'm going out to start taking the car apart right now and I will see what I can come up with. I don't plan on dropping five racks on some big brakes anytime soon though...

And has anybody converted to Mustang knuckles? Has anybody ever mentioned it?
