    I switch up. Not for brand names but for GF6. Royal purple has a new GF6A+ or whatever they call it. GF6 was a newer oil made to take out some minerals in 2018 that were the cause of LSPI

    Just looks like a cap someone made to vent to atmosphere. To do that you remove hose. Keep the recirc valve open and cap the bottom inlet. The other end of where the hose went.     Without oil the roller bearing will overheat and the cage will rapidly break down or melt and the hardened rollers will be free. Free to go into the blender.     They usually make inserts for the hood vents that snap in to protect from rain. They are not perfect i imagine but would help. Kinda like a sunroof, it keeps out the rain…most of the time. Even if they aint regularly available i would just 3d print a set.

    These will be pretty reliable cars. Just a bit of upkeep on them. Biggest thing will be the electronics through. They are buggy even with low miles. Now watch mine wont start as i leave from work soon lol

    Its doable, engine is wide with turbos on the manifolds. Just gotta do some work. Maybe cut back into the firewall or just go to a single turbo setup. Or move both turbos.     Yes. It is metered by absolute calculated pressure and not corrected flow rate. My tuner Brad helped me fix a lot of problems over the years from datalogin. I get it. A new customer with existing engine issues. Thats a red flag for me if i was a tuner.
