All bolts actually have to be lubricated when torquing them to have a true torque value. Thats why engine block studs or any bolt from ARP says on its instruction sheet to make sure bolts are lubricated before you apply torque. Thats why every bolt you pull off the chassis of the SHO has a form...
Thats not much of a difference and in reality the tires are never truly to spec and different wear along the corners is more different than this. Its either the left or right on the front that wears faster anyway because of the torque and weight. The 18 inch rim is perfect but im sure the person...
I adjusted mine up to where they needed to be by shimming the headlight assembly mounts with washers. I needed to after shoving a 3inch pipe into the headlight.
Doing an ethanol tune like e30 makes the sho sound different and more aggressive because the exhaust pulses have more volume than a normal gasoline exhaust pulse. Ethanol also has a faster flame propagation so the sound would be much deeper compared to normal gasoline burning in the same engine.
Better off having the Ford dealer do it. They usually offer a 2 year warranty also. Mine was around 2k$ iirc and it was in 2021 maybe. So far it’s been fine. They just fail while driving and lets say good thing i was going straight.
She pushes some boost lol, idk what it was reading. 66psi, Maybe thats why the transmission planetary didnt work no more when i stomped it last year lol. People ask me how much boost, i show them this picture, eh give or take 50psi
Loaded in my 10 revision e30 tune, been waiting all winter. Even on a great 93 tune the car just feels slow lol. Raised idle and neutral to 700rpm and i keep wondering why it’s idling a little high lol. E30 and ad mounts like a higher idle so im not shook to death
No. My division of SKF aerospace in Hanover Pa was for sale as SKF wanted to exit the our type of aerospace business and was recently purchased by Polymer Concepts Technologies, PCTI...
E30 is a whole world of difference. The feel of the idle, the sound of larger exhaust pulses, the torque band, the smell. Cant wait to load my e30 tune back in. Car sounds like a honda on 93 tune.
I just had my first one fail on me today after 5 years. Put oem one back in and she’s happy again. I’ll probably just replace them all back to oem. All the tuners tell me the oem ones can handle everything for my setup and it’s more than most. Once a year I dyno it for a health check, just ran...
After 5 years, finally had an MSD coil just die on me. Rarely drive the SHO anymore but took it over to visit a friend in town and drove nice as usual. Went to go somewhere with him and as soon as I started it there was a dead miss. Dtc came on after a little while to tell me what cylinder...
Custom made mine, probably 70k miles on them. No issues or shakes. Checked them last year on cmm at work and still exact measurements when I had them made.
The mishimoto does better than stock but still not to well in spring-fall, the treadstone tr8c is the best the inlets are larger along with the psi drop is not much compared to the larger types. It’s a balancing act
2015 Sho, where is the front heated seat control module located? I used to hear a relay click behind the right side of the dash. No more click, no more work
