    Installed mods today!!! A few issues, but well worth it.

    I recently put in a 3Bar in my car, I don't have the thermostat yet, but I still got updated tunes for the 3Bar. Power feels the same, but way smoother through the powerband!

    Perfect! Is the colder thermostat required in order to run the 3bar tune? I live in FL, so will I benefit from the 170 thermostat?

    So when you guys say heat soak, does that mean my car will overheat? Sorry, I don't know that much :scratch: Also, is the colder thermostat necessary in order to change to a 3 bar sensor?

    So currently I'm running the stage 4 plus tune in my 10' SHO. I'm looking to get a little more out of it, and people are saying that the 4+x is noticeably faster. I want some more turbo sound, and I head the K&N is the way to go for that. This is my shopping list for now, are all these items...

    Sad news SHO is down

    LMS make some kickass tunes for these cars, really wakes this engine up! I bought my 2010 with 69k miles. Have been running their 91 tune since then, with no other mods. Currently have 89k miles on it, no issues besides my grin! :biggrin:

    Should be under 5. I do 4.3-4-6 with just a 2 bar tune and no other mods.

    Totally understand you, that's one of the reasons why I haven't put an exhaust on mine! But I love the sound of turbos spooling up :rolleyes: But yeah, I'm sure it would get annoying after a while. Still want to know how he got it to sound like that though :oogle:

    My factory BOV's have made a sound similar to that once or twice, but never consistently like that. I really wonder what kind of intake he is running? :eeeeeek:

    Thank you for educating me on this! I willl admit, I know very little about mechanics. That is one of the reasons I come here, to ask questions. I guess what I will be doing is taking my car to a shop, or the dealer to get it checked.

    Good to know guys, thanks! While I have this post open, is it easy to refill the A/C coolant on these cars myself? I have never done it before, but my A/C is not very cold.

    I've noticed lately, I'm not sure if the car has always been this way, but during wot my a/c stops working. I notice it especially on hot days (which we get quite a lot of here in FL), I'll do a little pull, and my a/c is gone for a couple of seconds. Is this a normal thing to give me max power...

    I don't think you'd want to do a taller tire, but 255/45/20 would work fine. :thumb:

    That's a sweet S4! I've been looking at these a lot lately, as they have come down in price quite a lot. Was it faster than your SHO? I hear these push 450 with a tune and some smaller upgrades!?

    Push button and transmission issues!

    Got the brake light switch today. it's a pita to get out, and even worse to put in! But after some cursing and some persistence I got the new one in. Seems to have solved my problems, car fires right up and shifts into reverse every time! 20$ fix! :D
