    So I was just changing the cabin air filter and the air filter, and took a little gander around the engine compartment. Is this the PTU? And is it leaking oil? Doesn't even look like it's bolted in properly, and the seal isn't lined up! WTF

    I don't know how they can put in a new PTU for 900$ as the list price for just the part is 915$ or so, plus labor. But if they will, I'd jump all over that!

    I gave the dealer a call back, told them their price is way to high. Service manager called me back about an hour later, said 1780$ out the door is the lowest they can do.

    This morning the sho started making a humming noise as I was driving to work, just drove it back home now, and the noise kept getting louder. Guess it’s time to bite the bullet and order that PTU :(

    I’m still having the smell in the cabin after some driving, but the tech did tell me there’s a lot of gear oil all over the exhaust system. Guess it could be that? Will probably get it flushed again in a month or so.
