    Power Loss

Make sure you check the hose that goes to the intercooler as well, mine had a massive crack in it, causing a huge boost leak.

    Check engine light P0020

I unplugged every sensor I could see and plugged them back in, and I went ahead and loaded the stock tune. Just to be on the safe side, CEL hasn’t come back on yet..

    Check engine light P0020

Yeah, or which wires I should be checking?

    Check engine light P0020

Do you have a picture with the sensors I’m looking for, I’m not very mechanically inclined

    Check engine light P0020

I might have, I will check everything when I get out of work today. I did have some problems with the sensor that goes into the intake, but I don’t see how that could be related...

    Check engine light P0020

Was driving to work this morning. While cruising on the highway doing 75mph, the check engine light came on. After I parked, I pulled out my handy WiFi OBD scanner, and pulled code P0020. I did install a K&N intake about a week ago, could this have something to do with this issue? Scanner...

    After Market Adaptive Cruise Control

Not sure if it's different on 2013 and up, but on my 2010 it only works down to 20 mph. After that it'll tell you to take over control. This technology seems to have gotten a lot better in the recent years, in my wives 2019 vw, the car will come to a complete stop, and restart by itself. All you...

    PTU Leaking, Check AWD message.

Thanks to the thread starter for reminding me to change my PTU fluid! I had my PTU replaced about a year ago, just shy of 2k $$$. I've put about 10k miles on it since then, I'm sure it's time...

    Track and street tires?

Firestone firehawk indy 500, also known as the Bridgestone RE003 in other markets. They’re super grippy, don’t have the longest threadlife though.

    Shift quality?

"But a few days ago I had a rental Jeep and I realized that I could not even notice the shifts in that thing, unlike my own car." Just wondering, what kind of Jeep did you rent? If it was one of those older compass, they have a CVT you definitely wouldn't feel any shifts. If it was a greand...

    Check your battery!

For sure, I’ve learned my lesson! I’m having a new battery put in as we speak, told them to leave the connector the way it is. I’ll see if I can order a new terminal myself.

    Check your battery!

That is the exact problem, I took it to the dealer and it looks like it’s eaten it’s way through the bottom part of the terminal. Dealer wants 1000$ to replace the entire harness lol. Can’t I just replace the positive terminal?

    Check your battery!

Now that I’m looking at it again, it almost looks like battery acid that’s leaked out from the battery itself! I will be taking it to the dealer where I bought the battery tomorrow. Just hope they have my order in their system, because I can’t find the receipt. :(

    Check your battery!

My car has been struggling to start these passed few days. I was out of town for 3 days, came back today, no start. Completely dead! This might be the reason why! After cleaning off most of the corrosion, I realized that it’s eaten through the whole battery terminal! Do you think they’ll still...

Reliability of 2010-2012 engines? Mileage numbers?

99k miles on my 2010 currently, bought it with 69k. Tuned since about 70k, my PTU went out this year, I also have the rattle on startup. A hose cracked, causing a boost leak. Other than that it runs great!

    Loss of power DTC P0299

I would first inspect all the hoses, especially the turbo piping. Also check all your vacuum hoses, a few tend to pop off fairly easily. Could also be the seal in you BOV’s. If you have warranty, return to stock and take it to the dealer.

    Loss of power DTC P0299

Seems to be getting worse, hope it holds up until my new hose arrives :frown: Maybe I could use some duct tape in the meantime  Also seems like the radiator hose will be in the way of me rescuing the hose clamp on the bottom part of the hose, I’m guessing I shouldn’t remove that radiator...

    Loss of power DTC P0299

Yup, 2010. I’m gonna go ahead and get the part from ecopowerparts, get rid of the noisemaker at the same time o_O

    Loss of power DTC P0299

Thanks for your swift reply! That will also eliminate the stupid noise maker correct? I also found this one, is that the same thing? https://www.ecopowerparts.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=11&zenid=VLTcLIjoKkHLtVgpmQrV12
