    He's on here occasionally. You can see a bunch of his build on the Ecoboost forum too. Not too much traffic there nowadays, but I still check it out. Lots of good info there.

    Yeah, I personally think these things sound like crap if you try to modify the exhaust system. They're just not made for it. It's the sleeper, made to romp on and surprise people. To get the V8 sound, I drive my S550 or the 03 GT.

    JLT, not a bad one. Same one I have on mine. Easy to install and works as it should.

    If you lock the car with the remote, does it do it at that time? Will it lock and unlock by itself? Does the remote start work? If the answer is yes, it's most probably the fob battery. Change it out. If you change it and it still happens, check the car battery. Don't forget, freezing temps play...

    Yeah, mine took a crap last month. Too cold to go salvage yard hunting and there aren't that many Taurus's in them. I'll pull it when it gets warmer and inspect what happened.

    I got to thinking about it. Have you cleared the check engine codes? Remote start may not work if the check engine light is on. Just a guess. Because the 02's shouldn't affect it.

    Are you mechanical inclined? Got tools? 02 Sensor socket? Garage to keep warm? Jack and jack stands? Patience? It's not a hard job to do. Replace both of them. Make sure you get the correct ones. Different colored connections. Pain in the ass to unhook sometimes.
