    Do you know if the BCM was replaced under warranty? Or the dealership who did it? Was it even a dealership or just a shop?

    Just offhand, did you try to see if it will remote start with the fob? All the doors need to be locked for the remote function to work too, if you didn't know that.

    Have you tested the battery? Battery cables? These things are famous for acting wonky if the Battery or connections are bad.

    I don't know what kind of OBD scanner you have, but I've been looking into one from Foxwell. One the guys on my SN95 forum uses them. Apparently, these can see things and break down where to look specifically. Pricey, but may be worth it. https://www.foxwelldiag.com/

    And now we know why Ford charges so much for diagnostic services. Makes me wonder if they really do all those checks or just skip ahead. I got a headache just reading through the posts. I can't imagine actually having to manually check it all. Kudos.

    Depends on what you want to spend and your time frame for mods. Downpipes are nice upgrade, but can be expensive compared to just fixing it. And there's the wait time for good downpipes too.But if you're going to upgrade, pipes for sure.
