You guys were right the dang thing was bone dry, it took 3.5 quarts running like a champ guys thanks for the advice, the mechanic said he filled it that's why I didn't think that's what it would be... Much appreciated!!!
Okay got the new ptu installed, and normal driving it is fine, but if I put it half throttle or more from less than 20 mph, the car shutters before taking off, anyone have any clue what may be happening?
I ordered the newest ptu, ebay said it will fit my car, it has some wires and hoses that the old one didn't have, any idea how it fits, or does it, I am guessing I ordered the new one with the added cooling, etc, I had 80k miles on the first one
So I lost my PTU yesterday, a friend (who is a Mopar master mechanic) has offered to put the new one in for me, I am curious how many hours it takes so I can pay him a fair price?
I really want to push the drive train to the max power I can realistically believe I won't have problems all the time (racing a few days a year at the track) 500 whp is just what was said here that s why I said 500 whp, I would prefer to be 580-600 or around there.
I know LMS recommends injectors to run e85. Do you definitely need forged internals to get 500+ whp? I'm sure a full e85 tune and bigger turbos would equate to more than 500 hp and LMS didn't tell me I needed to have forged internals for that?
I plan on switching over to e85 and getting the atp turbos. What I am wondering is what all will I need to make this happen. I assume bigger injectors(please offer suggestions). Do I need an aftermarket intercooler for the bigger turbos? (I have a non PP). Who is the best e85 tuner? And any...
