Could be a failing cam sensor and not the gage.

How do i remove metal strip in Gen I cladding? Cladding Clips?

Its best to use a thin dual blade tool to pry it off at each pin. I have good used pins and new receiving bushings if needed. They are not the easiest things to remove, very tight.

The Mustang II's mostly were not popular. I always liked them, especially the Cobras or the King Cobras. This will be an excellent vehicle when finished.

I am a fan of the hybrid cars. I just bought this last Sep. A bit upscale over a Prius. : ) And it gets 3x the mpgs of my 2005 F150 King Ranch.

Broken housing below glove compartment

It is an insulated cosmetic cover, nothing serious. You may be missing a metal clip that fits over a plastic stud.

Tell Me Why My Engine Caught Fire and I Have No Brakes

That is the same area that this one caught fire. Could be a leaky rear cam cover gasket dripping oil onto the exhaust. Or could have been electrical close to the computer. Hopefully yours did not get this bad. What part of TX are you in? I'm planning to drive to Harlingen sometime semi soon.
