ABS sensor questions

hey everybody, I was taking off a steering knuckle on my '93 when I broke the abs sensor. I guess i'm blind because I can't see a way to detach the wire from it.. Do I just have to splice in the new one, or what? thanks in advance, neill

front brake troubles

I was going to put new front brake pads on but I ran into a problem. The threads that one of the torx bolts goes into is stripped. Would it be a good idea to use a helicoil type fix here? Any advise at all would be greatly appreciated. neill
