Whoever puts it in for you will do it the easiest way possible because of time, i doubt they will pull the radiator. Ive installed a few of them for people on here that are local to me and its not “needed”. Just alot of extra work for not really added insurance. Sure the engineering way that is...
“Better performance (heat management) than stock an since it's coming out why not replace it labor is free.”
Since when does the radiator need to come out to do an intercooler? Ive had like 4 different types and never touched the radiator.
After like 8 years or so i went back to factory springs from H&R. Car rides very nice again. I do the best i can with it but paint is coming off the front bumper. Ill get a new one eventually. Almost 160k miles….on the body
That’s how you can tell if a turbo car is tuned, it leaves a black cloud usually small. Safer to run rich than to run lean at wot. Lots of temperature very quick, gasoline cools the cylinder. Too hot makes the top ring and possibly others expand very quickly and can cause damage if the end...
Most likely because the sourced a 2013 and up transmission code when developing. Man do they grip. I barely push the pedal and get all the idiot lights for wheel spin but that’s mostly the upgraded torque converter. Shirts are solid with the upgraded clutch packs.
I got it working good. Just have to button it back up with a wire soldered to it. Figured I’d post it so others can see what the internals look like. Taped up the link pretty good and reinstalled. Thank God seat is simple to take out with 4 13mm bolts. So if you need to replace the controller...
Bought a cheap aftermarket controller for now with intentions of fixing the old one. Till I took it apart and found out why it didn’t work. May still fix it. Will probably just have my electrical engineer friend jip some wires into it. I’ll keep it updated. Good chances the controller is ok...
For people who dont know. When you pay via paypal family and friends there is no refunds and even paypal wont get you your moneys back. I do need a rear window seal also for my 1990.
Which dual catch can do you have? I still only have the dirty side jlt. Would love for it not to smoke as much anymore but i dont see it hurting anything after all this time
Find the t it ty up in the fender behind the fender liner and rub it. Stuff will come out. They usually just clog up at the t it ty. If no help then shove weed wacker rope down the sunroof drain on the corners down the A pillar.
And ive never had a single issue with them yet. I drive with them on every morning as i get on the road and to the office around 4am daily while the idiots are still sleeping.
Sorry for the stupid question. So you have a tune correct? You need a custom tune for the car to work with a 3 bar sensor at the manifold. If you dont have a custom 3 bar tune then put an oem map sensor back on
