    Ive had this 95 SHO for a couple of months and still learning my way around it. Its had a annoying low rpm part throttle misfire. No codes, cylinder balance test passes (9) too. I figured must be old plugs in the rear bank. Put in autolite 3294pp set but no help. The plug wires are new looking...

    Update, the 4060455 belt fits my 95 mtx perfectly, no noise, no slippage. So there are two different alternator belts for the MTX SHOs. early 4060445 and late (94-95) 4060455. Tom P.

    I was trolling looking for misfire info ran across this thread about swapping alternators and then having weird ignition problems. Sounds almost like a bad engine to frame or battery to frame ground. I wonder if it was ever solved. -Tom P.

    Most sites Ive check with still list 4060445 for 89-95 sho mtx. there is no way the 4060445 will fit my 95 and I do remember reading the 94/95 has a larger alternator so this makes sense. Ill get a 4060455 this weekend and post results. Is there a good FAQ for this little detail? -Tom P.

    I have a 4060445 that is too short as well. I also removed the adjuster pulley but still no joy. This belt on the car is a Dayco. I can make out a 5060... number on it. Anyone get the gatorback 4060445 to fit a late model gen2 (95)?
