Thanks. My local parts store uses MOOG as a distributor. That part EV328 from that store was a FEMALE end. I'm not sure what the mess up with this part is. Anyway, I got the part from FORD. Inner tie rod
For my 99 SHO, ford Part number MES-3344 has a female threaded end which attaches to the Rack. My SHO has male threads. I changed out the Inner Tie rod two years ago and had the same problem, but neglected to write down the part number. Bad road conditions has taken its toll on that Tie rod...- tbeaucage
