I figure that its going to be quite a labor. But I have a whole winter of no other projects. I work at an autobody shop, so the fabrication needs are there. Has anyone here had experiance with this? Is it feasable to do this project for under two grand, with probably 4 months worth of lay up.- shoman93

Blew ATX. Want MTX!
Long story short, I have a fully repainted, beautiful condition 1993. Medium Blue metallic. Just under 140,000 on it. The tranny is spent, and needs replacing. Is attempting to put a 5 speed as a replacement, going to be rediculously expensive, and how big of a job is it.- shoman93

The second tranny in my 93, (140000) is now spent. The car has been fully re-painted, and all potential rust taken care of less than 5000 miles ago. Could I reasonably replace with an MTX. Would it be worth the effort. By the way, this is a second car.- shoman93

Paint question for faded and worn out rear window weatherstriping.
I would go ahead and use a flexible primer/coater, and then go ahead and find a flexible color that would match what you are looking for. I work at an autobody shop and I would suggest a ppg product called flexible primer, and then follow up that with a standard trim coat of black.- shoman93
