    ccrm?

    First the problem: my SHO would crank but not start (like it would if it was out of gas). It would sit down for one or two weeks and then would start up as if nothing ever happened. It could be anywhere from one month to four months before this would happen again. No symptoms to let me know this...

    I think I finally found out the problem > CCRM. When I took the connector off, it made the same symptoms that it had before. It has been running since the last post but I still plan to change it. Kind of frustrating since there were no codes to go by. shrug Just wanted to update in case...

    exchanging seats

    I was reading the other seats and I was wonder about the power seats. I wanted to take out the leather and put in cloth. I read the Sable seats would also fit in it. Are there Taurus or Sables that have cloth power seats? If there are, how hard is it to swap?

    New CPS and SHO no go

    Try to find someone with a good DIS and swap it out. If it starts and clears up, then thats your problem. If not, then try the CID. I have a similar problem, and when it acts up again and doesn't start I'm changing the CID. Just my two cents. cheers Good Luck :)

    well after just sitting here for two weeks, tinkering with it for one week and just sitting here the next, i was going to call the shop this morning and have them come get it. i decided to give it one last try. it fired right up! shrug go figure. just wanted to update ya'll. beer

    could the DIS cause my SHO not to start? it will crank but won't fire. also, if the CPS was bad would it still be able to get 500-700 rpms? i have changed the BAP which was the only code that was pulled. any ideas shrug :confused:

    intermittent start problem, please help!

    Pulled codes this morning. I got 116 and 126. Coolant temp sensor and BAP sensor. Now I need to know can this cause it not to start?
