Alright, well, I was just hoping some of you owned non-SHO Taurus's... doesn't sound like many do. I appreciate the advice.- Peter

Yeah, I realize that. I tried to ask the question at the Taurus Car Club because of that reason but their message board requires that an Admin approve my registration before I can post - and I don't know when that will happen. Maybe someone on here has a registration and can post for me...- Peter

Oil Pan Gasket
My buddy has a Ford Taurus (2000 I believe) and it recently lost a bunch of oil on his driveway. I got underneath and there is oil all over the oil pan and it appears to be leaking from between the oil pan and block (and the gasket is squeezed out). We are planning to replace the oil pan...- Peter
