Question for SDPATT - Preventive Maintenance

I just purchased a 1992 MTX SHO with 120K on it in excellent condition from the original owner who took exceptional care of it (oil changes, cooling system flushes, 60K, repaired or replaced items when they needed it, etc. etc. -- and he had ALL the records). I'm about to have the 120K done on...

A/C Problem - Fixed

Ranger, I forgot to explain this fully -- thanks. The fan stopped coming on at all. I think this might have been through the brunt of our last Texas summer (Houston) and the temperature never got above N/O on the gauge. Now it gets up to about O/R and then the fan comes on and it cools back...

A/C Problem - Fixed

FYI, this might be old news to the veterans here, but is new for me. My A/C was working sporadically. When it worked, it worked great, and then it would just cut off. Took it to an A/C place - they said it was the compressor clutch. Made sense. Didn't do it. Later, took it to another shop...
