My 93 has 65,000 miles. What I am looking for are technical suggestions for my tranny mechanic. He has alot of experience with Taurus and AXOD. I have already learned that the 93 has aluminum pistons and plates and the 94-95 has stainless. This will help. We are also testing the speed sensor...- jojo

93 ATX
My 93 ATX is in the transmission shop. It's there because of a shifting problem. After its warm, it loses the 2-3 shift. Also it doesn't seem to know when to downshift from 2nd to 1st gear. Premature 2-1 downshift. And the old slide bump 1-2 shift. Any fixes? JoJo- jojo
