I had the same problem, but found a solution! I bypassed all of the auto parts stores (all gave me the same answers and you got) and found a place in California that shipped one to me for $75. Standardflywheels.com Just put it in this weekend. Works perfect. They are great to deal with...- johnny5

Lost my steering feel.
My rack on my '89 was leaking like a pig, so I picked up an A1 Cardone replacement for it. Right away I noticed that the feel was not as firm as it used to be and when tearing around cloverleafs onto the interstate, the assist is so excessive that it's not even fun anymore. Clutch question
Zak I can assure you this is the original clutch, as I purchased it from the original owner, a 65 year old lady whose husband just passed away. It was her car and she knew the entire service history. Thanks though.- johnny5

Area 51 - Why the Ceramic TOB? What is the greatest benefit of upgrading it? I was able to get 110k out of the original. I was going to get a Sachs clutch set that includes the clutch/pp/TOB in the kit. Also, what are the teflon bushings? Are they a wear item? I'm even thinking of...- johnny5

Clutch question
Looking for ideas - At times when I push the clutch in all the way to the floor when shifting it crunches for the last 1 - 1 1/2". By crunching I mean the pedal feels "crunchy" on my foot; like binding - not normal. It does not do this all the time but seems to be happening more often...- johnny5

Where should I start?
I just picked up a 1989 SHO with the Premium Sound System and have a problem with it. It will not tune in stations very well (the antenna is plugged in securely) and sometimes it will cut out and not work at all. At this time, there is only static.
