    Thankyou and goodbuy

I got warranty, and most likely I could do most things myself. Upgrades I'll do. Everything else I'll use the warranty and get my monies worth from it.

    Thankyou and goodbuy

I'd like to thank the forum for answering most of my questions/concerns. Unfortunately I did not buy a SHO. I ended up buying a 2010 BMW 135i. I just couldn't bring myself to buy a family (sports) sedan with very little E-85 support. Only time will tell if this was a good decision or not.

why so far away ... *sigh*

https://autoinspect.us/en/used-car-for-sale/VIN-1FAHP2KTXEG178259 It's a definite no on that car. hyper and old are correct. And the really strange thing is it says it came from Minnesota. That's where I am. LOL

Your rear calipers are 2.5 times larger than those? Doubtful.

    Limited Slip Differentials?

Si it's one of those systems that applies a brake to slow a wheel from spinning? Any adjustments in the SCT software for it?

    Limited Slip Differentials?

Search didn't yield an exact answer, or any answer really. More speculation and questions. I want to know if the SHO has a mechanical LSD, front or rear or both? If not, is there anything available? Anyone have one and care to comment on it's worth?

How do I spot a PP?

While shopping for a used SHO, most salesmen know next to nothing. I'm near par. I've read about neat little features but have no idea how to spot them. For instance, how do I know if one is a PP or not? How do I know if it has heated seats (the salesman was sure it's in the radio thing, non...

    Limitations of fuel system?

I'm quite sure you business partner would be able to provide a better explanation but, In the SHO fuel system you're dealing with 2 fuel pumps and 2 pressure ratios. The Low Pressure Fuel Pump, LPFP, is in the tank and sends fuel to the High Pressure Fuel Pump, HPFP. The LPFP Runs at around...

    Limitations of fuel system?

Nice car but no. After all the BMW's I've test drove in the last few months, the 135 is what I want if I get a BMW. I did test drive a '13 SHO the other day, my first. I have never been in a seat so comfortable. The transmission was butter smooth. I was actually pretty impressed with the car...

    Limitations of fuel system?

TBH, the 135 runs the same on the street as the track. The TQ management is pretty good. And the really strange thing is they don't have LSD. It's all done with the brakes. And I guess the auto's launch best in 2nd gear. Doesn't matter though if I can't run full E85 the SHO is off the table...

    Limitations of fuel system?

I found that one. Actually a couple of them I found, if we're talking just the 3.5 eco's. Both are using a FIC though and that's not what I want. I want to retain the factory (only) fuel system. I'm honestly surprised that no one's making a different fuel pump cam. I don't know what to call it...

    Limitations of fuel system?

Apples only applies never. I have a dollar amount I'm looking to spend and I just want the most car for that dollar. The BMW's sound to be rather easy to modify (N54 engine) and not any more expensive to do so than anything else. The only thing I'd save on with a Ford is SCT Advantage. I'd just...
