Seat Belts
I don't have any aftermarket seat belts, but I do have the original stock ones. I pulled them out when I stripped the car to install a roll cage, racing seat, and harness.- dirttrackSHO

The flywheel was reground and cleaned before it was put back in. My question now is, how do you propose I put 100 or so stop and go miles on a car that is no longer street legal? It has been completely stripped and has a full roll cage installed. I'm not sure the car will get 100 miles on it...- dirttrackSHO

I race this particular SHO on a 3/8 mile oval dirt track. Last week (after new clutch installed) I did 8 laps in the heat race. This is only 3 miles. Ugh unidentifiable oil leak after 3.2 swap... any suggestions?
That motor looks too good to have oil (even clean oil) dripping on it. By the way thanks for the oil pan.- dirttrackSHO

New fuel pump not working. HELP!!!
Someone has told me that you are not supposed to be able to hear the fuel pump engage when you the ignition into the run position. Is this true? :confused: When the car would run (sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn't) you could hear the pump engage. Then one day you couldn't. The new one...- dirttrackSHO

I need help. My '89 will not get fuel to the engine. There were several indications that it was the fuel pump. That has been replaced, but it still will not pump fuel. Changing to a fuel cell
If I work at it enough I could get the lock ring to move, but I would rather go with a fuel cell for safety reasons on the track.- dirttrackSHO

Changing to a fuel cell
I have an 89 SHO and am having problems changing the fuel pump. It is rusted to the gas tank. I would rather switch to a fuel cell rather than go through the hassle of pulling another gas tank out of the junk yard. I have no problem coming up with a fuel cell, but I can not find a fuel pump that...- dirttrackSHO

4 tires Nitto, Falken, Yoko, or Kuhmo
I have tried the expensive ones and the cheap ones. They all fall apart like they are retreads on the track. I get about 10 miles on them and then thay have to be replaced. :rolleyes:- dirttrackSHO

Help, SHO won't start!
Ok, here's the weird part. The SHO started by pulling it. It wouldn't start by turning the key, but we pulled it and popped the clutch and she started and ran great. When she first started she popped, sputtered a couple of times and then ran like a top. So what could be the problem...- dirttrackSHO

Help, SHO won't start!
I bought the car about a month ago. I have not driven it very much. When I first bought it, it was hard to start because of a dead battery. When it would start, it would sort of bog down a little.
