Engine swap plus clutch job
I found some engines in Rancho Cordova ( Sacramento area), that are $700 and come with a one year parts and labor warranty. My friend says he can do the engine swap, we just need a garage an engine stand (?) and a cherry picker. I also look forward to utilizing the search button here on...- dhcg86

Think I threw a rod
I had the shop do an inspection and they tried to fix the unknown problem at the time by changing the oil (and putting heavier oil in), and adding some sort of engine cleaner, and they did an inspection of sorts. I know they arent trying to rip me off as the only charged $40 for that service...- dhcg86

Think I threw a rod
Oil light was coming on momentarily when clutch was pushed in - and then would disappear when clutch released. No lifters- okey dokey. Positive the gas pedal was stuck- I had to reach down and unstick it:oogle: Bad news good news Bad news Shop says around 1000 to fix- and the...- dhcg86

Think I threw a rod
Picked up a 92 mtx sho yesterday. Car hadn't been driven for about two three years- picked it up for $600. Changed the battery, took it to Chevron, put in two quarts of oil, a gasoline additive, filled up the anti freeze, and took her for a drive. While I was pushing it ( as in driving...- dhcg86
