Cleaning the short block
Any suggestions for cleaning up the gasket surfaces and pistons while in-car? I ordered some plastic scrapers and razor blades, carb cleaner and degreaser. I'd like to get most of the crusty stuff off to where I can't feel it with my fingernail. I'm worried about getting stuff in places where...- Devin

It has been repaired, so to speak. The spark plug hole was drilled out and there is an oversized thread there now.- Devin

I assume there are no inserts to step down a thread size on the spark plug well, I'll just have to use a larger spark plug in that side?- Devin

What are our Headlight Options in 2026?
I'm using some Amazon LEDs in my gen 1. The lights themselves function fine but are causing flicker on other LEDs in that circuit, mainly the license plate lights.- Devin
