OK....checked the IAC. That appears to be fine. Pulled the MAF (I think...square black module, 4-pin connector, on top of air cleaner?) and found a small, fuzzy seed-like thing from the trees around here stuck on the electrodes. Blew it off and NOW it runs just fine. No hesitation, smooth idle...
I was thinking it might be a sensor problem. I had a '99 Explorer that had a few MAF problems. I've only had this car for a year and have barely put 10K on it. Supposedly, the previous owner did the 60K maintenance just before I bought it.
I'll check the IAC and the MAF as soon as I am able.

I have a 1994 SHO-MTX that started leaking gas about a month ago. It is dripping, slowly, from almost directly under the filler spout. I thought I found the leak....a small (dime-sized) plug near the bottom right-rear corner of the tank. I used a Permatex tank sealant patch kit to re-plug it but...
