Actually, considering the miles the SHO has done pretty well. Last year was simply a bad battery and very poor warranty/road-side assistance program, this year a bad alternator under warranty that NONE of their stores have in stock. And in both cases were AutoZone parts that were still under warranty.
The thing that irritates me, is that I would have had to wait TWO DAYS AT MY EXPENSE, to get a replacement for my lifetime-warranty alternator. If I didn't have other [time] obligations, I would have sat the two days and then demanded reimbursement since they could not provide a replacement part in a "timely" manner.
What irritates me the most, is that I have been repeatedly told "
your battery and alternator are fine . . . .", when in reality they simply blew-me-off until the items failed. I have to wonder if I would have gotten the same responses, if they were competitors' parts or were no longer under warranty.
