Wondering if anyone has a magnaflow exhaust part# 15769 says 10-14 sho. Installed on newer year? I have a 2016 sho. I have used magnaflow on my mustangs and gonna leave stock exhaust on for now with my ppe downpipes but magnaflow is the only brand exhaust I would want to go with

I know the factory exhaust is different for 2013-2019 than the earlier models. I am not sure if this would prohibit the use of that system on your vehicle but, there is a difference somewhere.

Why? I always had better results with Borla. There might be better exhausts out there. I know the old Borla systems we used to use were much better materials vs rust and also sounded better.

The sound clips I viewed the magnaflow sounds like has less drone and better sound. I always liked the magnaflow sound. I went through several on my first 96 mustang and put magnaflow on every mustang since. Granted completely different being all have been NA V8's

Went through several brands then got the magnaflow magnapacks on my 96 gt with same headers and mid pipe for several brands of catback. The magnapacks finally gave me the sound I wanted. I had it on for almost 20 years as daily driver with erie winters. The trunk rusted out but the exhaust was still great

I feel the borla is about 37% more ricey on the ecoboost than Magnaflow. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s physically better but definitely sounds worse to me.

Edit: for the record, ecoboosts just sound like garbage no matter what you do.

true enough. The last borla I had was a v-8 SHO and it sounded great. It sounded good stock to be fair

Zpak is correct. 3.5 EB's are the Hondas sounds of the V6 world.

Did you ever find out if magnaflow system fits on the 2016? I emailed magnaflow tech and was told the only reason other years aren’t listed on application is because they never had access to other year vehicles in shop. If you look at stainless works or corsa, their kits fit 2010 -2019

@BFASTER read my signature and listen to my recordings https://youtube.com/@kryptto69?si=MCNBPaYZbhzKNaVS

I am using ppe DPS no cats and removed 3rd cat and stock resonator - added bottle Flowmaster lava fx for each pipe as a 'resonator' the aggressive sound was my 'attempt' of making the deeper tones run to magnaflow performance muflers.

Here is the Flowmasters from under the car past the dp's. https://photos.app.goo.gl/WC5e4Z22zMzAyFmU8

Still no real sound improvement - it's loud during heavy take off and has drone during highway speeds if you consider 70-95 highway speed. The interstate is 95 so is the speed limit ;)

If I let off and just float gas it quiets down. However my sound is loud enough to scream at a cop - pull me over.

I downloaded a sound analyzer app, going to take her for a drive and try and capture the average speeds and use a jpipe to fix drone at certain ranges.

I just emailed MagnaFlow, my mufflers and this part number are their entire system 11386 - funny was gonna replace my FlowMaster FX for this part even before I reached out.

Save youself $1500 and by that XPipe Resonator and a couple of my mufflers and have a shop cut out the stock resonator - unmonitored 3rd cat and stock muffelrs which are baffled and cause back pressure. All components are $360 retail.

Good morning,

Thank you for choosing Magnaflow!

We utilize part number 11386 in our system 15769. Let me know if I may further assist.

Be careful at the upper speeds on I95 here in VA. They like the reckless driving charges here for higher speeds.
almost got into trouble in CT when on vacation. not used to all the curves and hills they hide behind.
