-For what its worth, I had a long email exchange with the Sales department at R1 Concepts which was a little strange but very interesting. Strange because I'm not sure who I was talking too at first, they kept referring to me by my last name, then first name, my guess is it started overseas. Interesting because it seems someone does make a Big Brake kit for the Taurus. According to what there telling me its a direct fit, bolt on kit that requires no fabrication and will use the stock Master Cylinder. The HUGE down side, its $5577.00 which is out of my price range. I love my car, I just don't have that to spend on brakes. I also have no idea what kind of quality R1 is so even if I had the money I would have to do more research. I was just very surprised someone makes a bolt on Big Brake kit for the SHO.
- Shifting gears it seems they also have the stock replacement calipers witch I'm going to use to do the 2013+ upgrade. They seem to be open to group discounts so I'm not sure of the exact price but retail for Calipers, Rotors and Pads is around $800 and that's not bad, if I can get a discount that would be even better.
- Anyway I just thought you folks may find this interesting, I would be very interested in anyone who has thoughts or this or experience with R1 products. Have a great week all, I look forward to your thoughts.
