Trying to find out if my 2011 SHO with the Power Package should be sitting lower in the back, because mine definitely does! I recently parked next to a few SHO's (2010 / 2012) and mine sits considerably lower in the back. I recently bought mine used with 37K on it and am starting to wonder if someone lowered the back end, or is it due to the P.P.??? I didn't think having the P.P. had any effect on ride height.

I don't think the springs that come in the 13+ PP SHOs came on the earlier versions. The newer springs are much stiffer, thus leading to the rake.

Thanks for the info. Orguss. I looked under it yesterday and it appears totally untouched, I've done some research on the internet looking at a large amount of pictures of 2010's thru 2012's and there are some factory pics. that look like they have been lowered in the back as mine does,..so I am really confused. I like the way it looks though.

I think you have this backwards. The "Rake," look is higher in the back and lower in the front like my 2014 SHO sits. I love the look (except it's a little too high in the back, needs some H&R Springs to bring the front & back down equally) - but the look is cool because it looks like a predator about to pounce on its prey! If the car is lower in the BACK - something is wrong.

My 2011 SHO doesn't sit lower then the front,..it just sits considerably lower in the back then most of the SHO's I have seen,..until tonight..I seen my exact SHO, Black, tinted windows, same wheels,..and the back end was the same height as mine. I re-read my original post and I can see that I wasn't clear on exactly what I meant by lower in the back,..I meant it was lower then 95% of the SHO's I've seen and parked next too,..2010 and newer. I apologize for the confusion. This ought to help clarify things.2011 SHO Side View

Had the SHO in for service at my local Ford dealer and asked them to check the rear springs to see if they were "Stock", they confirmed that they were,..so I am still confused why my SHO sits lower in the back then "most" others,..I know I like the look though.

And don't expect the dealer to point this out if you're under warranty still

Rich

I have an aftermarket warranty,...and the Service Manager at the Dealership is like a friend of mine,..he has helped me out a lot in the past and I would "hope" he wouldn't B.S. me. While it was in the shop he also updated my ECM to Fords latest parameters just to make sure I am getting the most power, fuel efficiency, Ect.... So I think my next move is to get one of the Livernois tune packages as I have mentioned in a different post. As Always Rich,..Thanks for the info. and feedback.

I wonder if previous owner removed the rubber washer from the upper mounting position on the shocks (inside trunk) to get it lower?

Can't go wrong with a Livernois tune!

Springs only effect your ride height. And it definitely looks lowered in the rear.

You think blown shocks or removed rubber piece could cause extra wear over time weakening the springs?

It's a possibility. I know there is a lot guys that didn't like the stock rake the the car had.
