I have been wanting to do a brake upgrade since I bought the car. Everybody knows that the stock setup sucks. I was just waiting to see what size wheel I would end up with.

I could have got 18's but they would have cost me more than the 20's. and I cant resist the BLING factor.

Don't Hate, Appreciate.:)

Other than stock size stuff, the knuckles will at least have to be substantially modified for any brake upgrade. Best bet is to go with a brake upgrade using the 94-95 knuckles.

So I just ordered the Stage 3 upgrade from SHO Source. Stay tuned for pics with the new setup behind the 20's.

I also ordered the rear bias plugs. That should really help the SHO finally stop the way Ford should have designed it to.

You sure that's not supposed to be a Crown Vic instead of an SHO??

I just don't understand having a sport sedan with heavy wheels that hurt the handling and speed of the car.

IDK, what the ****.

:woo-hoo:

You do realize it's a Ford Taurus?????? It's NOT fast and IT DOESN'T handle

Clean car nonetheless

I understand that everyone has their own ideas, but why do we always have to listen to people complain about what someone else does to "THEIR" car? Are they afraid that it's contagious? We're not talking about the flu or such. Obviously, this owner likes his car and his modifications. They may not be your cup of tea, but he likes it. And he wants to share it with us!

We are suppose to be here for support. Before you say something "wise-ass", just think for a minute what it would feel like if they said that about your car. This forum is stronger when we help build up, not knock down.

Now I'll get off my soap box. :salute:

Well said.

I am not building this car to please anybody but myself.:swing:

I am sure everyone would love to see my other vehicle too. I know your probably thinking "Why would you do that to a truck?" I like it.

Wow! I don't think I ever saw rims that big on a Gen I or II before. I like it. They make my 19x8's look small.
