Hey,
Well, for the last couple of days, I've sort of have been in a tight spot with the SHO.

and
http://www.shoforum.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=30;t=005085

I currently attend Southern Methodist University in Dallas and would like to get in touch with a Ford dealer or mechanic that I could trust. Axianator recommended that I come by and check you all out.
On a sidenote, I've been thinking about joining an SHO club, but they always seemed a long way away from where I live in Virginia. Is there anyway I could get some information about you guys?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

vibration over 4K RPMs, i have the same thing. mine is clutch related though. prolly because i didnt not resurface the flywheel when i installed the new clutch. ive driven another members MTX and his has the same clutch pedal buzzing over 4K. though im not sure if his flywheel was resurfaced or not.

mine has been doing it for ~8K miles now and still hasnt created a problem.

Do you all have your own club website? I tried to click on the website link on shotimes.com, but it would not work.

Paul,

We don't recommend you take the SHO to any of the Ford dealers in Dallas. We have several members of the DFW-SHO Club in the area that can help you out. Plus we have a SHO mechanic in Arlington who works on a bunch of our SHOs.

If your not busy next weekend the 17th, the DFW-SHO Club along with the fordbastard car club are having our 2nd annual winter fun run. We will be meeting at Ridgmar Mall on I-30 and Green Oaks (just west of downtown Ft. Worth) that's the northwest corner of the intersection at 10am in the west Neiman parking lot. Come by and meet all of us SHO nuts and get your SHO in the lineup pic. Last year we had 21 SHOs sho up for the line up pics.

BTW I'm the moderator of the DFW-SHO Club.

Hey Dale you going to be able to make the mall meeting? We need your SHO for the lineup pics. Dude I can't get ya to answer your phone. I want to make sure everything is OK with ya.

alot of SHOs tend to do that, there's something mentioned on shotimes about a spring or something that buzzes on the pedal itself. i don't know if any of you have tried that yet. just a thought.

both of my MTX SHO's did the vibration noise, mine was what Ian said, the clutch pedal spring vibrating.
Welcome to the group, and enjoy.

I've joined the group, does that mean that I am in LSSHOC? I hope it does. I'm going to see if I can make it to the one of the meets this week. I will definately take your advice. Thanks for the help. thumb

I can't get any real bites on anyone to buy my SHO. The sad thing is I just really don't have a car to take out there. Something tells my my explorer with 31inch mud tires probably wouldn't be welcome. I'm gonna miss you guys this time, but in a month or two I'll be in a better financial position to come hang out in DFW with you guys. Have fun, and be safe.
