I don't know when it stopped working, but I just noticed it tonight. I think it was on when I took off the bezel a few days ago to replace my A/C vents, and I'm certain it was on before that when I got done replacing the stereo. Other than that, the only electrical thing I've messed with is cleaning the contacts in the driver's door power window switch panel.

I took the bezel back off, thinking I had forgotten to plug the clock back in, but it's plugged. What do I need to look at? I don't think I touched anything else that could cause it. Everything else electrical is (as far as I can tell) working fine, so I don't think it's a fuse, though I'm waiting until daylight to check them.

Any ideas?

Since the last time I KNOW it was working, this is what I've done:

Replaced the secondary vacuum solenoid
Had the speed control recall service done **
Replaced the dashboard vents

Since yesterday, I've also noticed that my cruise control isn't working. Could the two be related? I'm wondering if Ford messed something up when they did the recall.

Any help would be wonderful.

Well the cruise control is working again. Turns out there was a blown fuse.

But the clock is still out, and I can't imagine what I could have done to trigger it. I'll just talk to myself until I figure it out. :)

Clocks do die. I've had two die on me. One would be intermittent and go on and off... the other one just went '****' and stopped working. Old electronics are old...

No warning at all, huh? That's how mine was. I didn't even notice when it died.

I'll be putting in the one from my parts car this evening. Here's hoping it works.

D'OH!

The clock is on the same fuse as the cruise control. I just didn't plug it in all the way when I was messing with it before. So everything is kosher now.
