Looks like you found the thread with all the information already. ;)

I do think it is funny when people here claim, "worlds xxxxxx SHO" since there are thing going on with SHO's apart from this forum (all generations included).

Hey guys, I got the worlds best looking sho. I am the judge, the only one to compete, so I won. If everyone who had a sho competed against each other for what ever title, you can't ever say you got "the worlds xxxxx"

Its hard to believe that the fastest N/A SHO only ran a 13.9.

Well, run a faster time

That record was set WAY before your time. It was also a very different time. Also, as I'm sure you already found, power isn't really the issues with SHO's, it's launching. I never got it down before moving to a place that doesn't have a 1/4 mile track near. My best was a 2.5 sec 60 ft with my SC car. I got a 2.4 with my 92 SHO with just an exhaust and Y-pipe.

Yes i know that for a fact. I have managed 2.2 60ft times but usually they are consistent 2.3's. Im going for a 13 second run N/A next year and was wondering if there was a set record. What did Beat run?

Remember Nunnally's car was stock engine, full weight and on street tires.
So even if you do beat that, your car is still gutted...

Pffttt...Come back when you can beat The Other Woman's 12.16 @116....She doesn't really count since she's been modified to the nth degree.

Seriously though, I think it's incredible that a full size family 4 door sedan from the 80's can even get in the 14's, let alone the 13's and 12's.

I still think an auto SHO with a second auto SHO motor in the back would be just a killer sleeper at the track. With the auto's, synchronization would not be a problem; so what if one shifted to 3rd before the other. I bet you'd be in the 11's for sure.

You need to get your self a set of slicks.

My best 60ft on slicks was a 1.94 Now that's what makes for a great ET!

I hate launching SHOs at the strip. I know I had 2.4 60s before boost. I forgot what it was earlier this year with boost. I'll just stick with roll racing in Mexico. kthxbye.

I am trying to make the debate between slicks and drag radials. Cause I really dont want 100$ worth in scrap from broken axles. Or broken imput shafts. lol
