Well guys lets assume that most of the work that the 60k and 100k entail have not been done on my car? I know some timing belt work was done but I can't really tell what the previous owner had done or not done.

What should I be looking at for my car? 123k miles.

I also have a few squeks, jerks and a bit of vibration cruising at 70+ to get fixed but I am not sure where to start.

Kinda depends on how much money you've got to spend. You can break the 60K service into bite size pieces, and you can go deep or shallow on the suspension, ie replace the struts & strut mounts, or replace a bunch of other stuff while you've got the struts out.

Check out Mikey's site as suggested, determine your budget and press on noble soldier.

Here is a post that I made a couple of years ago to show what parts and services should be considered during the upper (valve gapping) and front end (timing belt) 60K/100K services.

The Phoenix Project has nicely incorporated this information. These are great places to start when you are trying to determine what services and parts replacements should be performed at any given time in a SHO's life. The service history of your specific car can affect the timing of these services.

You should also note that the top and front end services are independent - they do not have to be performed at the same time - there is very little work that is shared between the two services.

Whatever you decide, be aware that the SHO, like every other mechanical device, will reward you with superior service if you make the effort to perform the required maintenance. I believe that my SHO is a testament to that statement.

I'd say at that mileage your biggest concern is going to be rodbearings. If it were me I'd do the front 60K new waterpump timing belt CPS T-Stat and Rod Bearings first. The upper 60k is pretty easy compared to the above and in my opinion is more vital then the valve adjustment. ruin the CPS car won't run Spin the rod bearings car won't run. valve train noise it still runs but not really optimal.

Replace rod bearings? Is that in the normal 60k service? I checked the other post listed above and did not see them listed in the parts list for the front 60k?

Thanks.

I think I am going to buy the 60k video as well here soon. I don't really need/want to add more power to the car just keep her in real nice shape and get lots of miles out of her.

Recently the rod bearings have proven to be an item of 100k maintenance.

Unfortunately, many v6 SHOs have spun bearings for whatever reason, making them just about as valuable as a paperweight.
