Here's the story:

I gunned my car down this straight away and was going fine. When i shifted into 3rd i churped the tires a little bit then the car shut off. I tried popping the clutch and got nothing. I'm not sure what i should do. When i churped tires, could it have shut off my fuel pump? How do u turn the pump back on?

Have you checked to see if there is fuel pressure, or are you just guessing your fuel pump inertia switch was triggered. If so, the switch is in the trunk.

Dumb question, but you did have the key in the on position when you did this?

Reset is in the trunk, behind the carpeted panels, easier to see if you move them, the reset is a big red button on the module.

Yes, the key is on to start the engine by popping the clutch, using the clutch to turn the engine over insted of the starter.

when you tturn the key to on, does the pump make noise (is it working?)? and check your fuel pump fuse and the fuel cut off switch before going any further.

My inertia switch/button is already depressed. So, how do you reset the pump if the button isn't able to be pressed in?
