Sounds like a bad fuel pump (open circuit), or bad wiring/ground. I did my fuel pump yesterday, and found the plastic 4-wire connector to the tank unit was completely deteriorated from exposure to leaking gasoline, so it may be simple as that. I would look there first if no start. Don't **** yourself - then the SHO has won!

I love Norway. I have visited Bergen and Trondheim, and liked Bergen most! I would love to come back someday soon.

Do you need a CID also or are you making assumptions? THere may well be a fault somewhere in the fuel system. Won't the larger retail stores in the U.S. like AutoZone.com or NAPA send parts overseas?
I hope it's not something simple like the impact cutoff switch in the trunk.

it`s not the switch.. the pump is pumping, but a very strange sound.. the guy at the shop called me, and it was no pressure to the fuel rails.

he believd it could be false air, or a bad connecto.. the pump is only one year and a half old.. so the pump shouldn`t be worn out

If the fuel pump is running, but no pressure to the rails, then that's a delivery problem. If the fuel pump is fairly new, perhaps the strainer filter fell off and it's starving, OR the fuel pump outlet line INSIDE the tank has ruptured. It connects the fuel pump outlet to the tank unit outlet, is only about 3" long. OR the Fuel Pressure Regulator has gone south and the pump is deadheading, causing the strange noise, as it is a positive displacement pump and should never dead-head.

Keep looking at the fuel system, aleksander - the problem is there, somewhere. Start with the tank unit and literally go hand-over-hand thru the entire system. It shouldn't take that long. Try disconnecting at the fuel filter and checking for flow there (into a catchcan, of course!), then work forward. Is the filter good?

Get a voltmeter with an ohmeter or a DVOM. This will help you find if there is a short or excess resistance somewhere that is creating this undesired effect.

Or maybe something's clogged...got a rusty fuel tank?

Question: Do SHO's have secondary fuel pumps?
