Guys,
Well last week I took off the imrc connector and unhooked and hooked up the battery to clear any codes. This cleared the check out engine light.
All clear for a couple of days so today thought I would risk the inspection. Before I went I did the battery thing again to clear any pending codes and then took it down to get inspected.
They hooked it up and failed me by saying that it was not OBD2 ready and that this usually happens if I disconnected the battery recently and that I should drive around a bit to get the system to go through some drive cycles.
I'll try and head down tomorrow to get it tested again, even though on the slip of paper they gave me they recommend a week.
Rav.
P.S. To show you how annoyed I am I'll even use one of these frowny faces.

This is a Gen 3 car. Rav, I don't know why they said it's not OBDII because it is. Like I said, they probably retrived a P1000 wich means that all the monitors have not yet passed and a drive cycle has not been completed.
